Ann is the curator and collections manager of invertebrate and rock collections at the University of Texas at Austin. Despite initially finding interest in geology, geomorphology, and maps as she attended the University of Cambridge for her undergraduate studies, her enthusiasm for paleontology quickly grew during her earliest years living in the United States. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin where she focused her study on calcified demosponges in the Caribbean. Molineaux is especially captivated by sponges and rudist bivalves.
She spends her time out in the field and at a desk studying specimens in the collections. She is enthusiastic about digitizing paleontological specimens, making them more available for research, exhibit, and education.
